Project and Fair Guidelines | 4-H Home
Exhibitors in this division are 4-H Cloverbuds and must be 5 to 8 years of age by the current calendar year. It is suggested that 4-H Cloverbuds enter their exhibits as follows:
2 to 5 exhibits if they are 5 years of age
2 to 6 exhibits if they are 6 years of age
3 to 7 exhibits if they are 7 years of age
3 to 8 exhibits if they are 8 years of age
All Cloverbud leaders should have an Cloverbud GUIDELINE BOOK, which is available at the 4-H office. Members should see guideline of their specific project. Cloverbud ribbons only will be awarded. Cloverbud rosettes will be awarded for outstanding exhibits.

Cloverbud animal exhibitors are to be no younger than 7 years of age by December 31 of current year unless otherwise stated by superintendents and are not allowed to sell their livestock in the auction. Animals will be judged along with other 4-H classes. Notebooks and science exhibits will be entered on Saturday in the Youth Exhibit area. Questions may be answered by the Superintendent of each livestock department (see rules under each department).
