The Board of Commissioners is the legislative policy making branch of Kalamazoo County Government.
The Board is responsible to the citizens for development and administration of policies and the annual budget.
The Board has seventeen members who are elected to office for a term of two years from districts selected according
to population. They are assisted by a number of citizen advisory boards and commissions. This office can
provide information regarding meeting dates, agenda items, and supply applications for the various advisory boards and
commissions.
