If ordered, spousal support might be for weekly or monthly payments for an indefinite period, for a limited time, or in one lump sum. It will be ordered paid through the FOC office, and the FOC will act as the receiving and disbursing agent. Spousal support arrearage is subject to most of the same enforcement actions as child support. Spousal support is subject to federal and state tax offset refund intercepts also.
