ONSITE WATER SUPPLY and/or ONSITE SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEMS EVALUATION
This service evaluates the condition of an onsite water supply system and/or onsite sewage treatment system and creates an objective written report on the findings. The Environmental Health Division offers this evaluation to any interested party, particularly lending institutions and homebuyers, although the evaluation is not required for a home sale.
The evaluation of the onsite water supply system assesses well construction and water quality. The evaluation of the onsite sewage treatment system focuses on the system's size and condition.
The application (pdf) for this service includes a detailed description of the process for scheduling and preparing for the evaluation.
