H1N1 VACCINE/CLINIC INFORMATION
H1N1 Vaccine
Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department is now offering the H1N1 flu vaccine to all residents who would like to be vaccinated. Appointments are available daily at the Health & Community Services Department, 3299 Gull Road in Kalamazoo. To schedule an appointment please call 269-373-5200 Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Walk-ins will also be accepted. There is no charge for the vaccine. Healthy individuals between the ages of 2-49 will qualify for the nasal FluMist version of the vaccine. - February 6, 11:00-2:00, Hispanic American Council (at St Joseph Catholic Church and School) 930 Lake St
- February 8, 3:00-6:00, Schoolcraft Middle School, 747 East Clay
- February 9, 3:00-6:00, Vicksburg Sunset Elementary, 201 Boulevard
- February 10, 3:30-5:30, Parchment High School, 1916 East G. Avenue
- February 11, 3:00-6:00, Climax-Scotts High School, 372 S. Main Street
- February 11, 3:00-6:00 Galesburg-Augusta High School, 1076 N. 37th St.
- February 16, 4:00-7:00, Comstock Colt Center, 2107 North 26th St.
- February 26, 5:00-7:30, Kalamazoo Central High School, 2432 N. Drake Rd.
Weekly clinics will be provided at the following locations on an ongoing basis:
- Mondays at the Hispanic American Council (at St. Joseph Catholic Church and School), 930 Lake St. from 3:00-6:00
- Tuesdays at the Douglass Community Association, 1000 W. Paterson St. from 2:00-5:00
- Wednesdays at the Portage Community Outreach Center, 325 E. Centre Ave from 3:00-6:00
- Thursdays at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, 448 N. Burdick, from 1:00-4:00
All clinics are walk-in only and a reservation is not needed for the above community clinics. Continue to watch this site for additional clinics being scheduled, which will be posted as soon as details are available.
