The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center provides free disposal and recycling services for a wide variety of household chemicals. The service is FREE for most Kalamazoo County residents. As of January 2, 2008, City of Galesburg residents must pay for services. Please call for details. For a fee, small businesses may also use the service. In addition to Kalamazoo County residents - this service is free to residents of Berrien County, Almena, Antwerp and Paw Paw Townships.

The HHW Center is open three days per week year round, with no appointment needed. The Center is located off Lake Street, next to the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds.
