The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center provides free disposal and recycling services for a wide variety of household chemicals. The service is FREE for Kalamazoo County residents, with the exception of the City of Galesburg and the Village of Vicksburg.*

The HHW Center is open three days per week year round, with no appointment needed. The Center is located off Lake Street, next to the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds. Please click Hours for more details.

Other municipalities with free service include Berrien and Calhoun counties, Almena, Antwerp and Paw Paw townships.

*The fee for Galesburg and Vicksburg residents will be approximately $15.25, depending on the quantity of materials brought in for disposal.
