American Kennel Club
Founded in 1884, the American Kennel Club has long been the nation's leading not-for-profit organization devoted to the study, breeding, exhibiting, and advancement of purebred dogs. A major force on the international dog scene, the AKC operates the world's largest purebred-dog registry, affiliated with more than 4,300 U.S. dog clubs, and approves and regulates over 15,000 dog events annually. The AKC is a strong advocate and supporter of purebred dogs, responsible dog ownership, canine good health, and advances the integrity of the breeding and sport of purebred dogs.
Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorers Club
Since 1962, the purpose of the Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorers Club is to encourage the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of antique, veteran and collectible automobiles. The K.A.A.R.C. sponsors many events annually including the "Winter Swap Meet" held each February at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center & Fairground.

Kalamazoo County Fair
The Kalamazoo County Fair is held annually in August and celebrates agriculture in a traditional
county fair setting. The event takes place at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center and Fairground
and is presented by the Kalamazoo County Agricultural Society showcasing the work of many vendors,
participants and the Kalamazoo County 4-H projects. The Kalamazoo County Fair office is located

Kalamazoo River Valley Trailway
The Friends of the Kalamazoo River Valley Trailway partnered with Kalamazoo County, the Parks Foundation of Kalamazoo County, the Kalamazoo County Road Commission and 13 local government units through which the Trailway will pass. Providing access to the River and its environments re-establishes, and indeed capitalizes, on appreciation for this natural resource, accruing benefits to the individuals and communities along its path.
United Kennel Club
Established in 1898, the United Kennel Club is the largest all-breed performance-dog registry in the world, registering dogs from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries. More than 60 percent of its 12,000 annually licensed events are tests of hunting ability, training and instinct. UKC prides itself on its family-oriented, friendly, educational events. The UKC has supported the "Total Dog" philosophy through its events and programs for over a century. As a departure from registries that place emphasis on a dog’s looks, UKC events are designed for dogs that look and perform equally well.
