Many times those who give care do not identify themselves as caregivers. They feel they are simply doing what family members or friends should do. These people, no matter how different their situations, have something in common: they take care for someone who needs them. Caregivers often need help finding resources to make their responsibilities easier. And many caregivers need an occasional break, respite, so that they can continue their caregiving without wearing themselves out.
