Animal Services provides two
options for surrendering your pet to us:
-
Euthanasia: Animal services will need the drivers license and permission from the owner to take their animal in and put it to sleep. This option is best for aggressive, sick or injured animals that should not go to another family. We do charge $10.00 for cats and $15.00 for dogs. If you want to take your pet home and make other arrangements for disposal there is only a $5.00 charge.

-
Euthansia or Adoption:
If your pet is healthy, friendly and preferably up to date on its vaccinations
and neutering we will take your animal in for a $20 fee and try to find it a
new home. This depends on how much space is available in the shelter,
and your animal needs to pass a basic evaluation from our staff. There
is no promise that we will hold the animal until it gets adopted.
Fees are different for out of county residents, although we
still provide the same options. Please call if needed. |
