Kalamazoo County Clerk/Register Office
Kalamazoo County Clerk & Register of Deeds goes online October 1, 2010
Register of Deeds Division
Beginning October 1, 2010, you will be able to search, view and print any land document in Kalamazoo County from October 1994 to the present. For the years 1985 - 1994, the index of all documents recorded is available. Additional historical images are placed on line frequently.
Our software, EagleRecorder, is very easy to use and manipulate. You will find many features that will assist you in your search for documents. Searches can be done by names and dates to be sure, but you will be able to search by the type of document as well. For example, if you only want look at warranty deeds, this can be done. If you happen to know the name of the subdivision or town and range numbers, you can search by them as well.
If you request a specific document, a thumbnail of the image will come up. The image will be blurred, but you should be able to tell if it is the document you were looking for. In order to see a clear image and to print it, you will need to pay $1.00 via credit card for each one. This is the official fee for any document from the Register of Deeds Office. Kalamazoo County is not assessing any additional fees in order for you to have access to the land records. In fact, you will not be assessed any charges when using your credit card on line. You may use EagleRecorder and the Kalamazoo County Register of Deeds index as frequently as you would like at no cost to you.
