Civil Case Evaluation - Change in Notice Procedure

Circuit Court Trial Division will change its civil case evaluation notice procedure.  Formerly, the case evaluation date was indicated in the "Civil Proceedings Scheduling Order." Then, a first notice of the case evaluation indicating am/pm session was mailed at least 42 days prior to the case evaluation date, and a second notice of case evaluation indicating a specific time was mailed at least 14 days prior to the case evaluation date. 

As of October 1, 2009, the date of the case evaluation will continue to be ordered via the "Civil Proceedings Scheduling Order" and will indicate an a.m. or p.m. session.  Only one additional notice of case evaluation will be mailed at least 28 days prior to the case evaluation date, which will designate the specific time for the evaluation and the names of the evaluators.
