Facilitative Mediaton for Case Codes NP, NH, NM, CB

Effective October 1, 2009, the Circuit Court Trial Division will be scheduling a status conference for civil cases with case codes NP, NH, NM and CB; at which time the court and parties will discuss use of facilitative mediation.  If the parties agree prior to the status conference date that they will use facilitative mediation, they must complete and file an Order for Mediation with the ADR clerk prior to the status conference date.  A form will be provided with the scheduling order, and an electronic version will also be available from the ADR clerk (sscran@kalcounty.com).  The status conference will be canceled if all parties agree to mediation and the Order for Mediation is timely filed with the ADR clerk.

Notice:  The court will not automatically provide updates to forms that are provided electronically to attorneys/parties.  It is the responsibility of the recipient to contact the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office to determine the date of the most recent version, indicated on lower left corner of the form.
