DESIGN STANDARDS FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
INFILTRATION BASIN
1. Infiltration basins shall be sized to contain a 25-year, 24 hour (4.5 inches) storm event at the design imperviousness without the benefit of percolation. See Appendix A for Rainfall Frequency Graph.
2. Infiltration basins shall be designed to drain completely within 72 hours at 0.5 times the infiltration rate of the soil as determined by the USDA Soil Survey. Use the maximum infiltration rate for calculation purposes.
