STORMWATER MANAGEMENT RULES
DESIGN STANDARDS FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
SEDIMENT FOREBAY
1. The forebay will be a separate basin which can be formed within the retention/detention basin by a stabilized earthen or stone berm or other suitable structure agreed to by the Drain Commissioner & owner.
2. The capacity of the forebay shall be equivalent to 5% of the 25-year, 24 hour storm event 4.5 inches (see appendix A)
3. Direct maintenance access to the forebay for equipment must be provided.
