Healthy Kids:  Medical Coverage for pregnant women and youth to age 19. Income eligibility requirements.

MIChild:  Medical coverage offering preventive care, hospitalization, prescriptions, laboratory, vision, hearing, dental, mental health and substance abuse treatment. Premium of $5.00 per month for entire family (only covers children).  Income eligibility requirements.

MOMS:  Insurance coverage for prenatal and postpartum pregnancy related services. Teens automatically qualify.  Must be Michigan resident.  Eligible regardless of citizenship status.

Plan First: Family planning services for women - ages 19 to 44 - who otherwise would not have medical coverage for these services. Must be a Michigan resident and meet eligibility requirements.

Kalamazoo County Health Plan Enrollment:  Residents who do not meet the requirements for Medicaid, Medicare, or any other program may be eligible for a community-sponsored program called Kalamazoo Health Plan, Plan B. This program is NOT insurance. It provides basic medical care at little or no cost to the member. For more information, call 269-344-6168.
