WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
WIC is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk.
Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC.
You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed.

Note: A pregnant woman is counted as one (1) plus the number of infants expected when determining income eligibility for the total economic unit.
You automatically qualify with Medicaid and/or Food Stamps; however proof of income is still required. If your income changes during maternity leave and falls within the income guidelines you may qualify.
