To obtain a curbside collection bin or for more information on your neighborhood's scheduled pickup day, contact your local government office.
For most other rural and suburban communities, BFI (381-2226) and
Republic (373-4070) provide at least every-other-week recycling pick up. Best Way Disposal (388-3300) and Waste Management (382-1081) provide monthly pick up. Call for details.
Drop-off Programs
Free drop-off recycling sites are also available, including general sites (open to all residents and households) and special community sites in Alamo Township, Comstock Township, the Village of Schoolcraft, and Wakeshma Township.
Multiple-Family Programs
On-site recycling is available to approximately half of Kalamazoo County residents living in apartment complexes, condo communities, and mobile home parks.
The newest generation of curbside recycling trucks have only two compartments -- one for papers and one for bottles and cans. To speed collection, please keep papers separate from bottles and cans.

Thanks for being part of the solution!
