The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center provides free disposal and recycling services for a wide variety of household chemicals. The service is FREE for Kalamazoo County residents, with the exception of the City of Galesburg.* In addition to Kalamazoo County residents - this service is free to residents of Berrien County, Almena, Antwerp and Paw Paw Townships.

The HHW Center is open three days per week year round, with no appointment needed. The Center is located off Lake Street, next to the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds. Please click on the left-hand button called "Hours & Directions" for more details.

*The fee for Galesburg residents will be approximately $19, depending on the quantity of materials brought in for disposal. All other municipalities outside of Kalamazoo County must pay for services.
