| | | Responsibilities and Qualifications: Performs property appraisals and/or sales studies in all classes of real property in the county to meet departmental, County or State requirements. Extracts building site values, land values and computes economic condition factors. Audits assessment rolls to assist in preparing reports. Assists in the preparation of the Equalization Report, Apportionment Report, Starting Base Report, IFT Report and Top Taxpayers Report. Performs other necessary functions in the equalization process to comply with the Michigan Constitution and Legislature for establishing equity within the townships and cities. Core course requirements for a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; knowledge of assessment administration and building construction; Level II or Level III SAB certification. | | | Responsibilities and Qualifications: Administer the communicable disease and TB control programs to protect the community's health through the reduction of disease. Provide consultation regarding communicable disease control within specific institutional settings. Maintain accurate and current communicable disease information to ensure its availability to health care professionals and the general public. Develop, update, and disseminate manuals and other educational/instructional materials on communicable disease for health care and other professionals in the community. Provide blood borne pathogens training for employees. Assess and immunize people immigrating into Kalamazoo County. Participate in on-call rotation as part of a 24/7 operation for communicable disease reporting of Kalamazoo County health care providers.
Requires current license as a Registered Nurse in Michigan with previous work-related experience in public health or clinical experience. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least two years experience preferred. Knowledge of communicable diseases and reliable transportation and a valid Michigan driver's license required. Must possess patho-physiology knowledge of infectious disease process. Must have ability to multi-task, function independently, problem solve, and make clinically accurate decisions under high stress conditions. Must demonstrate excellent assessment, interviewing and communication skills. Bi-lingual in English/Spanish highly desired. Initiate treatment as indicated, according to written protocols and/or standards of nursing care.
