Assists in preparation and submittal of required documents & reports for Housing related programming grants such as, but not limited to Community Development Block Grant & Department of Energy. Serves as system co-administrator of FACSPRO data management system. Serves as system specialist of the MSHDA OPAL Reporting/Management System for the Community Development Block Grant (Home Rehabilitation) program. Determine and document eligibility of customers seeking housing programs and other related services and programs. Provide program support to weatherization, rehabilitation, and all housing programs; provide back up support for Program Assistant. Support general housing projects targeting low income individuals and families with 30% of area median income or less. Provide back up to Program Assistant, support general technical operations within Center for Health Equity and support equity in housing and other areas as needed.
Associates degree with 3-5 years relevant experience is required, Bachelor degree preferred; or comparable combination of education, training and experience. Experience in human services environment working with economically disadvantaged families is strongly preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required. Highly developed computer skills including database management and administration are required. Ability to work independently with frequent interruptions required. Knowledge and experience with data collection and analysis is preferred. Knowledge of human and social service resources in the community and the ability to speak, write and read Spanish are preferred.
