Network administration and management functions providing complex, planning, design, implementation and maintenance of the County’s enterprise network and telecommunication systems and Tier II technical support for Help Desk escalation process in order to provide a comprehensive, reliable, secure technology platform that supports technology systems which meet departmental, County, State and Federal requirements and needs, maximizes end user productivity and meets essential business functions.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of two to three years related experience; or any comparable combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of current technology and advanced experience in a TCP/IP based LAN/WAN Enterprise network and telecommunication systems environment. Experience with Microsoft workstation and server OS, Active Directory, Exchange, Novell ZCM, Cisco, Citrix, IBM AS/400-i5, SQL, Virtual Servers and SAN technologies preferred. Demonstrated interpersonal/communications and project leadership skills.
