Budget development, financial reporting, provide analytical/accounting expertise for special projects, prepare year end closing entries and audit schedules, provide financial expertise relative to contract administration, conduct financial assessments of subrecipients, prepare journal entries and budget adjustments, review and approve transactions.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline with a minimum of five years experience as an accounting professional preferably with demonstrated advancement; or any combination of comparable training, education and experience. Key competencies include: 1) thorough knowledge and application of accounting principles and procedures, 2) budgeting, reporting and forecasting experience at an advanced skill level, 3) analytical expertise and ability to perform complex computations, 4) high degree of proficiency working with financial software and web applications, 5) Attention to detail and accuracy and, 6) planning, communication, organizational, and problem solving abilities.
