Seasonal Influenza Vaccine

Borgess VNA Home Care is offering two Seasonal Influenza Vaccine clinics on Saturday, November 21, 2009.  The clinics will run 9:00am - 12:00pm at the following locations;

 

Harding’s Market – Centre Street/Woodbridge

3750 W Centre St, Portage

 

Harding’s Market – South Westnedge/Southland Mall

6330 S Westnedge, Portage

 

The cost for the vaccine is $33.00 - Visa and MasterCard are accepted.  The vaccine is free for those with Medicare Part B.  These clinics are for Seasonal Flu Vaccine only.

 

Health & Community Services does not have seasonal flu vaccine at this time.  Therefore, no clinics are scheduled.  If more vaccine is received, clinics will be scheduled at that time and information will be posted to this website. 

 

H1N1 Vaccine 

At this time there are no H1N1 clinics scheduled.  We are working on scheduling additional clinics in December.  Please continue to check this website for future clinic information including when we will begin accepting reservations.

Upcoming clinics will only be available to people who are Kalamazoo County Residents and are in one of the following priority Target Groups:

• Pregnant women
• Household contacts and caregivers for children under 6 months of age
• Healthcare and Emergency Medical Services personnel
• All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
• Persons age 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.

The following medical providers have received limited doses of H1N1 vaccine.  As more vaccine is allocated to Kalamazoo County, these providers will continue to receive additional doses of the vaccine.  If your medical provider is on this list, you may call them regarding availability.  If your medical provider is not on this list, please continue to check this website for public clinics.
