Courthouse security entrances include a metal detector and an x-ray machine. Security officers may also use metal detecting wands as necessary. You cannot bring knives (including small pocket knives), scissors, box cutters, razors, chemical sprays, knitting needles or any other objects deemed to be potentially dangerous into the building. For your convenience, please leave any of these objects at home or in your vehicle. Insulin dependant diabetics may bring their testing equipment and syringes, but make sure you have your prescription or a doctor’s note on hand. Beverages and food items may be brought into the buildings, but you must identify yourself as a juror to the security officers. Vending machines are available at these sites with free gourmet coffee at the Circuit Court Trial Division only.

District Court Crosstown & Probate Court

You cannot bring knives (including small pocket knives), scissors, box cutters, razors, chemical sprays, knitting needles or any other objects deemed to be potentially dangerous into the building. For your convenience, please leave any of these objects at home or in your vehicle. Insulin dependant diabetics will be asked to leave their supplies with the security staff until it is needed by the juror. The items are not allowed into the courts. Bottled water is the only beverage allowed at this location.

District Court South

There is an on-site officer at this location. Insulin dependant diabetics may bring their testing equipment and syringes, but make sure you have your prescription or a doctor’s note on hand.
