Annual 4-H Benefit Auction

Kalamazoo, Mich.- The 12th annual Kalamazoo County 4-H Benefit Auction will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Scotts Community Center (8450 S 36th Street) in Scotts, MI. The Auction begins at 10:00 a.m. with the doors opening to the public at 9:00 a.m. All the proceeds from the auction go to support 4-H youth activities in Kalamazoo County. Auctioneers are Matt Thornton, Thornton Auctioneering, Inc. and Jeff Buckham.

Other than the antiques the auction items are new merchandise, which have been donated by area businesses and 4-H families. We would like to thank the many local businesses that support the youth in their community.

Auction items include but are not limited to: collectibles, toys, gift baskets, pet care products, auto supplies, auto detailing packages, furniture and household items, original paintings, personal care products, agricultural items, gift certificates for bakeries, events, attractions, including Yarrow Golf Club package, Kalamazoo Symphony, and many more, restaurants and hotels, including a Brook Lodge package. A Norman Rockwell print "The County Agent" which has been signed by the 10 year old in the picture will be auctioned at 12:30 p.m. As auction items come in they will be listed on our website at www.kalamazoo4h.org
