Norman Rockwell Print To Be Auctioned Kalamazoo, Mich.- The 12th Annual Kalamazoo County 4-H Benefit Auction will feature a Norman Rockwell print "The County Agent". The print is signed by Sharon Lea Steed-Smith. She was the 10 year old in the picture holding the 4-H sewing project. Sharon and her sister Jama are the only still living family members portrayed in the picture. Sharon will be at the auction to have her picture taken with the winning bidder and share her memories of Norman Rockwell and poising for the now famous painting. Print To Be Sold At 12:30 p.m. All proceeds from the auction go to fund the many events and trainings that the 4-H program offers Kalamazoo County young people ages 5 to 19. 4-H is the youth development program of Michigan State University. The program teaches young people leadership skills helping them be competitive in the work force or acceptance into college. Please help support 4-H. The auction is Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Scotts Community Center, 8450 South 36th Street, Scotts, MI. Auctioneer: Matt Thornton, Heritage Auction Firm and Jeff Buckham.
