New Breast Pump Lending Library Available

Kalamazoo, Mich.- MSU Extension in Kalamazoo County is offering electric Breast Pumps through a new Lending Library. These breast pumps will be loaned to food stamp eligible mothers who wish to continue breastfeeding while they go to school or back to work.

The MSU Alumni Group sponsored a charity golf outing and donated the proceeds to the development of the Breast Pump Lending Library. Because of this generous donation, breast pumps will be ready for participants beginning November 5, 2007.

Breast pumps will be loaned on a first come-first serve basis.

For more information about this free program, please contact Amanda Hulet, Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at MSU Extension in Kalamazoo County at (269) 384-8064 or 383-8830; or e-mail her at huleta@msu.edu
