MSU Extension sponsors Bus Trip to Hidden Lake Gardens

Kalamazoo, Mich.- Would you like to spend a day enjoying beautiful gardens? The Kalamazoo County MSU Extension Consumer Horticulture Program is sponsoring a bus trip to Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, Michigan. The bus trip will be a fundraiser to help support the Master Gardener Volunteer Program in Kalamazoo County as well as provide for a journey to the beautiful gardens maintained by Michigan State University. Hidden Lake Gardens specializes in Dwarf and Rare conifers, Bonsai, an American Hosta Society Display Garden, Demo Gardens and more. Registration is required - deadline for registration is May 25. The bus trip will leave Kalamazoo at 7:00 a.m. on June 2 and costs $65 for non-Master Gardeners. The fee covers snacks on the bus and entry into Hidden Lake Gardens. There will be a shopping stop at Gee Farms Nursery on the return trip. Participants are asked to bring their own brown bag lunch and beverage.
