Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo

Kalamazoo, MI - The Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo, sponsored by The Metropolitan Detroit Flower Growers Association, Western Michigan Greenhouse Association and the MSU Extension Floriculture Team, will take place November 11 & 12, 2008 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan.

The trade fair will be open on Tuesday, November 11, from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm and Wednesday, November 12, from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm., featuring equipment, machinery, structures, plants, growing media, greenhouse supplies and services.

Several seminars will be offered each day including “Advanced Greenhouse Lighting”, “Strategies for Managing your Bottom Line”, “Controlling Greenhouse Diseases and Insects in 2009”, a panel discussion on the MAEAP and Sustainable Standards for the greenhouse industry, just to name a few. Several notable speakers will be conducting the seminars from MSU, MSU Extension, the Michigan Dept. of Agriculture, and area Greenhouses. An MSU Bus Tour and special OFA Session will be offered during the Expo.
