4-H Scholarship Recipients Selected

Kalamazoo MI. – The Kalamazoo County 4-H Youth Program is please to announce the selection of 4 area high school seniors to receive 4-H Leaders Council Scholarships. These recipients are all members of 4-H in Kalamazoo County and the scholarship money can be used toward the college of their choice.

John Deyo, Gull Lake High School
Son of John and Pam Deyo, Battle Creek
11 year member of the Hamilton Lake 4-H Club
Planning to attend Michigan State University

Lauren Hamilton, Portage Central High School
Daughter of Patrick Hamilton and Laurie Sipes, Portage
5 year member of the Tri-United 4-H Club
Planning to attend Grand Valley State University

Carl Howard, Vicksburg High School
Son of Michael & Nancy Howard, Scotts
10 year member of the Pavilion Busy Clovers 4-H Club
Planning to attend Western Michigan University

Cassie Mohney, Parchment High School
Daughter of Thomas and Kathryn Mohney, Kalamazoo
6 year member of Kalamazoo Kontenders 4-H Club
Planning to attend Michigan State University
