National Restaurant Assn. ServSafe Certification Course Being Offered

Kalamazoo, Mich.- MSU Extension and the Dept. of Environmental Health of Kalamazoo County are partnering to offer ServSafe Certification trainings. State requirements are to have Certifications completed by June 30, 2009.

A training session will consist of two, 8-hour classroom dates and will be held at the Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services Bldg., 3299 Gull Rd. in the Georgian Room. The cost of a 2-day session is $200 per person; class size is limited.

Monday, March 9 and 16, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monday, April 20 and 27, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monday, May 11 and 18, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monday, June 8 and 15, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monday, June 22 and 29, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Registration must be completed 2 weeks prior to the start date of the session chosen. Study materials will be sent to the registrant; class attendance is mandatory and a certification exam will be administered at the second class date.
