Hiking
All of our Parks have walking trails. Each Park is unique: from flat lands to wooded,
rolling hills, to view points overlooking a lake. The trails can be used for quiet walks in the
woods, for exercise, or for destination routes between facilities.
Cold Brook Park sits on 276 acres. There are many nature paths that allow for serene quiet walks in the woods or more intense hiking.
Markin Glen sits on 190 wooded to open acres. There are pathways throughout the park for walking and hiking.
Prairie View sits on 208 wooded to open acres. There are pathways throughout the park for walks or hikes.
River Oaks sits on 270 acres and offers many wooded trails to enjoy long hikes.
Scotts Mill sits on 108 acres and offers many wooded trails for hiking.
