Updated November 17, 2009: Construction is now complete on a 1.7 mile section of trail from Gull St. to Mosel Ave. This section travels through Verburg Park, crosses the Kalamazoo River at Paterson St, and then follows Riverview Drive North to Mosel.

Construction is expected to begin in early 2010 on a five-mile stretch of trail from Mosel to D Ave. At that time updates will be posted for this segment, which travels North from Mosel, along Markin Glen County Park, following Westnedge Ave., and through the Kalamazoo Nature Center.
