Shelters

Shelter reservations do not include the vehicle admission fee. All motor vehicles coming to picnics will be charged standard motor vehicle entrance fees. Monday through Thursday rental is reduced for select picnic shelters.

All Parks have tables and grills in addition to those at shelters.
(available on a "first come-first served" basis)

Cold Brook offers three shelters. They may be reserved to allow for exclusive use of the shelter and to guarantee availability or they may be used on a "first come-first served" basis if they have not been reserved. Markin Glen offers five shelters and a beach shelter. Except the Beach Shelter, all may be reserved to allow for exclusive use of the shelter and to guarantee availability or they may be used on a "first come-first served" basis if they have not been reserved. Prairie View offers five shelters and a beach house. They may be reserved to allow for exclusive use of the shelter and to guarantee availability or they may be used on a "first come-first served" basis if they have not been reserved. River Oaks offers two shelters. They may be reserved to allow for exclusive use of the shelter and to guarantee availability or they may be used on a "first come-first served" basis if they have not been reserved. Scotts Mill offers one large shelter. It may be reserved for a fee to allow for exclusive use of the shelter and to guarantee availability or it may be used on a "first come-first served" basis if it has not been reserved.
