A motorcyclist fleeing a traffic stop on Saturday struck a stopped vehicle on H Ave. The motorcyclist was transported to Borgess and listed in fair condition, while the driver and passenger of the struck car were transported to Bronson.
A 47 yr old motorcycle driver fled from deputies who were attempting to stop him for speeding on E Michigan near Packard. The motorcycle fled, eventually travelling north on N 26th St. N 26th St ends at East H Ave at a T-intersection, and resumes its northward progress a block east on H Ave. The motorcyclist turned east on E H Ave and struck the rear of a stopped vehicle waiting to turn north on 26th St.
The motorcycle driver was transported to Bronson Hospital by Pride Care Ambulance. The 56 yr old driver of the vehicle and 22 yr old passenger struck, were transported to Borgess Hospital by Pride Care Ambulance.
The motorcycle driver was not wearing a helmet and alcohol is not a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
