Office of Administrator
The County Administrator/Controller and the Administrative Services Department staff coordinate and perform strategic planning for the overall mission of the County. Kalamazoo County has been a recognized member of the International City Management Association since 1999. The Administrative Services Department serves as the principal advisor to the Board and acts as liaison between the Board and other county departments. The department also represents the Board of Commissioners in dealings with other governmental agencies. The County Administrator/Controller supervises the actions of all appointed department heads and ensures that whenever possible, departments work together to provide the best possible service to the residents of Kalamazoo County.
