Soil Erosion & Sedimentation Control Board of Appeals
The Soil Erosion & Sedimentation Control Board of Appeals hears appeals from decisions made by the County Soil & Sedimentation Control Program.
- The County Board of Commissioners shall appoint a Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Board of Appeals. The Board of Appeals shall be composed of not less than three (3) persons and not more than (5) persons. The County Board of Commissioners shall establish the precise number of members of the Board of Appeals through the adoption of a Resolution.
- The County Board of Commissioners may change the precise number of members of the Board of Appeals on an annual basis.
- Terms shall be for three (3) years. When members are first appointed, the appointments may be for less than three (3) years to provide for staggered terms.
- The members of the Board of Appeals shall select a chairperson from among themselves and shall adopt By-Laws which establish the method of conducting appeals.
