Register of Deeds
Plat Board
The County Plat Board is composed of the County Board of Commissioners Chair, who shall act as Chair; the County Clerk/Register of Deeds, who shall act as Secretary, and the County Treasurer (MCL 560.102 (r)). The Plat Board is created by State Law and is responsible for the examination and approval or denial of all proposed plats (or plans for subdividing land) in the County.
Membership
The Plat Board is comprised of the Chair of the Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners, the County Treasurer, and the County Clerk/Register of Deeds.
