Marriage Records (1831 - present)
Marriage records are a matter of public record. The license is recorded in the county in which the applicants lived at the time of their marriage. Out-of-state applicants record their marriage license in the county in which they were married. All copies issued by this office are certified and serve as an original document.
How to Obtain a Certified Marriage Record
Marriage records can currently be requested in person, by mail or drop box, by email, or fax. The certified copy of a marriage license will be mailed to you within 5 business days of the receipt of the request.
- Fee is $15; additional copies of the same marriage record requested the same day are $5 each. A convenience fee of $10.00 also applies to your order total.
- Order certified copies of marriage records online.

- Fee is $15; additional copies of the same record are $5. Method of payment includes cash, check, money order or credit/debit card.
- To save time, you may print out and complete the Marriage Records Request Form.
Marriage Record requests received in-person are provided the same day.

Divorces

In order to obtain a copy of your Judgement of Divorce please put your request in writing and mail to:
