COVID-19 Vaccination Distribution Status

*New* Quarantine & Isolation Guidance (as of 1/27/22)

General Public Quarantine & Isolation Guidance is in alignment with the CDC guidance with additional recommendations from the health department.

Kalamazoo County Mask Order

There is no longer a Public Health Mask Order requiring masks be worn by students from Kindergarten through 6th grade in Kalamazoo County. The public health order was rescinded at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021

COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

COVID-19 vaccines are offered at the health department, 311 E. Alcott Street. There is no cost and no ID required.

COVID-19 vaccines are available for those age 5+ Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm (closed from 12-1 pm). No appointment is needed, but if you would prefer to make an appointment please call 269-373-5203.

COVID-19 Vaccination Card Replacement

We cannot replace our lost or misplaced COVID-19 Vaccine Card, but we can provide you with an official immunization record that documents that you received the COVID-19 vaccine. You can request an immunization record from the health department at 269-373-5200 or 269-373-5237. It may take up to two weeks to receive your record.

Michigan residents age 18 and older can also go to the Michigan Immunization Portal to access their vaccination records. To ensure privacy, individuals will be asked to create a MILogin account and upload a valid government-issued photo ID. There is no cost to access this portal.  

U.S. COVID-19 Test to Treat Locator

A new nationwide Test to Treat initiative provides quick access to free treatment for COVID-19. Through this program, people are able to get tested and – if they are positive and treatments are appropriate for them – receive a prescription from a health care provider, and have their prescription filled all at one location. 

These new sites are available at hundreds of locations nationwide, a Test to Treat locator is available to help find participating sites throughout the U.S. A call center is also available at 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489) from 8:00 am to midnight ET, 7 days a week. In addition, a Disability Information and Access Line (DIAL) is available to help people with disabilities access services. Call 1-888-677-1199, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm ET or email DIAL@usaginganddisability.org.

Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests

Order your tests now so you will have them when you need them.

Every home in the U.S. is eligible for 4 free tests. You can order yours at www.covidtests.gov or call 1-800-232-0233.

Free, rapid, at-home test kits are also available to residents of eligible communities in Michigan. Visit https://www.accesscovidtests.org/ to see if tests are available in your area.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has also provided free, at-home testing kits to selected libraries throughout the state. In Kalamazoo County, test kits are available, during business hours, at the Kalamazoo Public Library and the Portage District Library.

Free KN95 MasksFree Adult KN95 Community Pick Up Locations

Residents can receive KN95 masks free of charge at these locations, during their normal business hours and while supplies last.

Please note that masks are not available for pick-up at the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department.
