Household Hazardous Waste Center

Extensive work is being completed this summer on Lake Street that will impact your travel to and from the HHW Center

Lake Street east of the 94-Business Loop (BL) is expected to be closed until the end of May. The HHW Center can be accessed from Olmstead Road off the BL or on Lake Street from Sprinkle Road.
When leaving the HHW Center, turn right on to Lake Street. At the “T”, you can turn left and go to Sprinkle Road if heading North on Sprinkle Road.
Turn right at the “T” on Olmstead Road to go back to the BL. At the traffic light, turn right to take the BL downtown or turn left to go south on Sprinkle Road, you cannot turn right to go North on Sprinkle at this intersection.

Climax Township and Paw Paw Township are not participating for 2023. Residents may still use the HHW Center for a fee, more information is located at “Eligible Participants”.
