  • Expired & unused medications
  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Medication samples
  • Pet medications
  • Medicated ointments, lotions, drops
  • Unopened Epi-pens
  • Liquid medications

The Red Med Box will NOT accept:

  • Sharps, needles, lancets
  • Thermometers
  • IV bags
  • Bloody or infectious waste
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Business waste (nursing, group home, clinic)
  • Personal care products (shampoo, lotion, cream
  • Empty containers
  • Aerosolized inhalers (e.g. Ventolin, Albuterol)
