Personal Health Division

The Personal Health Division provides direct clinic services and education for individuals and families through Family Planning, Hearing & Vision Screening & Testing, Immunizations and International Travel Immunizations, STI and HIV Testing & Counseling, the STI and Sexual Health Toolkit, Tuberculosis Testing, and Women, Infants & Children (WIC). The Personal Health Divisions also conducts Communicable Disease School Reporting, Epidemiology and Surveillance Reporting, Health Care Professionals Disease Reporting, and Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MICR) for Kalamazoo County.

  • International Travel Immunizations: Appointment Only (must be made 8 weeks in advance). Call 269-373-5126.
  • Immunizations: Appointment preferred, but not needed
  • Immunization Waivers: Appointment Only. Call 269-373-5198
  • Lead Poisoning Prevention: For information and resources, call 269-373-5080
  • STI & HIV Testing & Counseling: Appointment preferred, but not needed  
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Testing: Appointments only
  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC): Appointment Only. Call 269-373-5002

Identification Requirements

Patients receiving any service at Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services Department will no longer be seen without proper picture identification. When insurance is billed for services for a child, the parent or guardian must provide proper ID. Acceptable picture identification includes:

  • Drivers License
  • State I.D.
  • County I.D.
  • Work or School I.D.
  • Passport or Green Card
  • Dept. of Corrections Printout
