The Kalamazoo County Parks are open! The picnic shelter and wedding site are closed for the winter.
All individuals must adhere to social distancing measures including remaining at least six feet from people outside the individual’s household.
Trash Service is also limited. Please help keep the park clean – Carry In and Carry Out.

Scotts Mill County Park was acquired by the County in 1973 and was opened to the public in 1976 as Kalamazoo County's official Bi-Centennial Project. Scotts Mill County Park offers visitors the opportunity to step back in time and experience a unique pieces of agricultural and natural history.

Picnic Shelter
Scotts Mill County Park is the perfect location for a family gathering, company picnic, school outing, or group picnic. The Picnic shelter features a grill, electricity, water and clean modern restrooms near the shelter. For a list of available shelters, along with descriptions and fees, please visit our Picnic Shelters page.
Picnic shelter reservations can be reserved starting on the first business day of January. Shelters are only available for use with an advanced reservation. To make a reservation, call 269-383-8778. Payment is due at the time of reservation with a credit or debit card.
GROUP RENTALS MAY BE IMPACTED BY STATE EMERGENCY PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS.
