Explore and discover the world of rocks, minerals, meteorites and fossils; pan for gold, learn about silver smithing, lapidary, faceting and dinosaurs; play a game, polish a Petoskey stone, crack open a geode; all this and more can be done at the show. Dinosaurs will rule at this year's show with a full size replica skull of the largest T-Rex ever discover, a full size raptor statue and much more! Admission: Adults $3, Children under 12 are free, Scouts are free when in uniform. 05/05 11th Annual National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day Carnival
This event celebrates children's mental health and helps to reduce the stigma of receiving mental health services for youth and families in a free, fun, and interactive atmosphere. It provides education regarding children's mental health issues, the services available for youth and families in our community, and how best to access those services. Admission is Free for everyone. Children of all ages will enjoy a hands-on opportunity to see, learn about, and explore an assortment of unique vehicles like fire trucks, police cars and heavy machinery. There will also be an interactive station that focuses on healthy eating and fun physical activities to participate in. Admission: $10 per Family or Adults $4, Children $2 (2 and under free.) "Taste of the World" extravaganza of food, fun and entertainment, a Colleagues International signature fundraising event. Enjoy sumptuous dining from around the world without needing a passport or a plane ticket! Sample international cuisine from 18 of Kalamazoo's finest local restaurants, including Malaysian, Mediterranean, Chinese, Greek, African, Italian, Lebanese, Mexican, and Indian.
