After a conviction is attained, a felon may be sentenced to prison in the Michigan Department of Corrections. Victims of these crimes and other citizens often have an interest in knowing the whereabouts and earliest release dates of these law violators.
By clicking on the icon below, you can access the Michigan Department of Corrections web site which includes an "Offenders Search" option. This "DOC" web site gives you access to a variety of information including the following:
- A current photograph of most convicts
- The inmate's earliest release date
- Information about where the offender is being housed
- The prisoner's current level of security
