Fatal Accident on Almena Dr

On 10/7/16 deputies from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car into a tree crash in the 8700 Blk of Almena Dr. in Oshtemo Twp. Oshtemo rescue and Life EMS responded as well. Upon arrival first responders located a vehicle that had struck a tree with one occupant inside. The driver of the vehicle a 19 year old Kalamazoo resident was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies investigated the crash and determined that speed was a factor in this crash. Currently, this crash remains under investigation.

UPDATE:

The driver has been identified as Connor Scott Brady, a resident from Kalamazoo. The investigation is continuing and any persons who may have information about the events leading up to the accident are asked to contact the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office.
